Bernat Rubí Joier is a family company founded 40 years ago by its present Managing Director, Bernat Rubí Odena. From the very beginning, the company dedicated itself to manufacturing; creating its own designs, producing and selling them in the traditional, high jewellery sector.
In 1990, the company decided, while not neglecting its broad network of national and international wholesale outlets, to open its own stores.
It currently has seven stores located in major shopping centres in Barcelona.
In 1999 the search began for new commercial channels, as well as ways to diversify the product range. Baby Line was created; a range of jewellery and accessories for children of different ages based on children’s characters, which have brought about many of the company’s collections.
In 2000, the line Rubí Basic, a clear demonstration of imagination and creativity based on small, silver collections, was created and rolled out progressively across the whole jewellery field. It is a younger and more modern line.
In this way, Bernat Rubí works with three lines of jewellery: one for babies, another for young people and the third, the high jewellery line.
The quality of the company’s jewellery has brought international recognition on different occasions, specifically from the international Gold Corporation, receiving first prize for best gold jewellery creation and an award for the most original design for a piece made exclusively from gold. In addition, each season, well-known fashion designers have chosen our jewellery to embellish their collections.
